This is me, as a Wizard who had a Dirge bid me up a fuck ton, asking all of you, as Dirges, how good think this Robe actually is for you. How much do you think it would have an impact on your dps? Assuming you are usually in the scout based/ot group, you have 5 set pieces for the faster CoB reuse (the chest isn't one), how much do think this Robe does for you?

No, I won the robe, I just had to pay 8 weeks worth of dkp instead of base because the Dirge kept bidding me up. I'm just trying to get some insight on why a Dirge would ever bid on this.

Because maybe a Dirge has 0 ways of decreasing their spell casting speed and our 2 AEs are 2s and 2.5s cast times. Maybe the Dirge is tired as fuck of not using Jarol's on 3-4 mobs because of the insanely long cast time. Maybe the Dirge is tired of waiting 4s or 8s of rezzing your sorry ass every time you pull aggro and die.

Our 3 set bonus is recast time. The robe is casting speed. There is no correlation between the two.

Fuck you. You know why 99% of the bards in game don't give 2 fucks about their DPS and are afk half the time reading the forums or doing other shit? It's because of retarded fucks like yourself who don't think they should get any loot.

This is why officer assigned loot sucks and believe me I've been in a guild that did it. It's because every item in the game would be better suited to another class besides a Bard. Melee shit benefits rogues/predators more and caster shit benefits mages more. There are no T7 bard-centric items in the game at all. Bards are the only classes that have to compete against mage AND scouts to fully optimize their gear.

Here's the thing you are probably too dumb to realize. If you keep insulting your Bards about loot and don't keep them happy they're just going to tell you to go fuck yourself and then your guild will be fucked. I'm not a guild leader, but I'm pretty sure keeping the Bards logging in would be a high priority of mine considering almost every guild is recruiting them.
