Default Re: GU 38 Speculation

Maybe it's a case of 'grass is greener', but I often look at the two resist buffs my Troub has and wish that I could change one for the noxious ward...

If you want a change of pace, what is stopping you from playing your ranger on a few raids?

Also, why should you be asked to sit out if you are in freeport/haven? All alignments can get dirges, and all alignments use them in raids. I can often be seen lamenting the fact that anything we can do, is done better by someone else... but it's not 'really' true. We ARE the jack-of-all-trades, masters of none. The only difference is that all other classes keep getting more utility, through AAs, or Ancient teachings or gear. Everyone else is becoming the jack of all trades, master of one, while we're stuck being masters of none.

Having said that, parse how much damage your procs add, then add that to your personal DPS score... you might be a little more impressed with your dirge. Then consider all the other buffs you give, the ones that can't be parsed. Bards bring alot to the raids, but I feel your pain. I am kinda getting tired of being thought of as a buff-bot.

For PvP I could see the noxious ward being pretty useful but on PvE it's crap for this tier because almost every AE worth a shit is arcane.
