Speaking of buffs like Consecrated Aura, then its beyond me, why the Inqs and classes with similar spells insists that other classes are more in need.
Take someone who already have a 90+ DPS mod. They do not benefit as much from the +31 DPS Consecrated Aura gives, as someone with say a 50 DPS mod (because of diminishing returns).
There are other examples of other buffs as well. Just need to educate the buffers I guess.

whips, chains and sharp pointy sticks!!

Seriously though it's the views people have that a bard, doesn't DPS or can't dps, is what needs to be changed. How do you do that?? Nagging works well while your grouped that time, but group with them again and you have to do it all over again...
Just gotta keep nagging basically.

OR use the whips chains and sharp pointy sticks :P

If you want respect from the other people you raid with as a bard you have to earn it. If you're not analyzing your parses, practicing your cycles, and maximizing your potential on every single encounter in every zone, you won't get jack shit as a bard from others.

You have to show the people you raid with that you're not a buff bot and you actually give a shit about your DPS. So when that one fight comes where someone slips up or mentally checks out for the night and you beat them on a parse, that's how you earn respect.
