Links On Main Search Results Page

I was just wondering why you don't list the links for each item right on the main search results page. As it is, you have to click the item to get to the link.

There are two good reasons to list the link on the main results page:
1. It makes it easier for users to get to the link they want faster, while still being able to drill into the item to see more info (like zone/mob, etc.).
2. It saves you some bandwidth, which I would think should save you some money, by not having to serve up another full page for every link every user wants to see.

I've used eq2llinks.com for a long time, and I've always wondered this.

Let me see what I can do...

It seems that I've got a lot of work to do and plans unfinished and I need to buckle down and drop my playtime in favor of some upgrades.

I'll post here if i get it working.

Yeah, that looks good. Though the font for the links looks a bit bigger than the other fonts on the page. The font for the link on the drill down page doesn't do this, so maybe you just haven't styled the new textbox you're using?

super minor (but will look into the style thing) I'm green as hell when it comes to web development.. but I can write mean Database queries ;)

only a cosmetic thing: could you reduce the % of the size of the name column?

This adjusts when the Mob and Zone columns have values in them.

Do a search for "darkmetal" and look at the results, for instance.
