ATM, I have 300 T7 fragments with zero powders. I don't want or need any more fragments. I would trade fragments for powders 3 for 1 or better even. So asking for 8 or 10 treasured items is still what's needed to make a T7 treasured adornment - because I'm getting a powder only 1 in 8 of 10 transmutes for T7. It takes 8 to 10 transmutes to get what's needed to make a T7 treasured item. Who cares about the extra fragments, you can't use them for anything without the powders. I frequently go ten or more T7 transmutes in a row without getting any powders. And what's worse is that a new HQ requires enchanted adamantine ore - I'm told it takes 12 pieces. Each of those 12 pieces must be made by a T7 transmuter, and requires 2 T7 powders. Trust me, that will take at least 100 T7 transmutes to get that many powders, and likely 1.5 times that number. The situation is opposite for T6 btw, where I get powders on a 1:3 basis over fragments. I have too many T6 powders and not enough T6 fragments, so it's the opposite problem of T7, but with the same result. They have the powder to fragment ratio screwed up across tiers and need to fix it. Then, yes I'd agree that prices and the number of items required to make T7 adornments can come down some. |

I agree LFG, I've noticed the same...I feel really bad when someone brings me 10+ items to transmute and they're lucky to get one powder.
With my post I wasn't implying that crafters who keep the returned mats are necessarily "ripping" people off...if it is agreed upon that the crafter keeps the returned mats as part of the deal to make the adornment, so be it (kinda like the dusts returned for making AD3s). I just thought it is important to state that the listed materials needed for an adornment isn't necessaily what is consumed in the process.

Excellent list and thank you for creating it and putting it in such a nice format.

Fabled Finesse of the Pontiff Carpenter on a successful healing spell, average 1.0 times/min
decreases threat of area of effect by 1296 Fabled Finesse of the Magi Woodworker on a successful hostile spell, average 1.0 time/min decreases threat of area of effect by 1296 I think these 2 are backwards. I think Carpenter makes the Finesse of the Magi.

I would like to propose an idea for someone who is familiar with code and how to make a basic windows application. The idea would be something similar to a paper doll for our chars with each slot having a pull down menu of which adornment can go into it and the program would let you specify for what level adornments you want to put in there or just have every adornment that can go into that slot be available. At the bottom of the paper doll there would be a list of the bonuses you would recieve for all the adornments as you add them to the paper doll in real time.
There was a similar program to this in Anarchy Online called Nanonanny I believe. It made picking out your implants and which clusters to put into you implants a viable thing to do for even the simplest person. The implants in that game were like adornments but you got 3 clusters per implant and each cluster could buff a certain skill but not all implants could have every skill so you had to mix and match till you found the setup that gave you the most optimal skill set for the items you wanted to equip or what not. I believe a similar program could be adapted for EQ2 and adornments so that people could fiddle with the program without having to go to the broker or a website to see what they can get and then trying to decide what should go where. Just an idea though, I am not a good programmer at all otherwise I would make the program myself however if someone who is good with code reads this and creates it i am betting you would be an instant celebrity among the EQ2 people cause everyone would want your program hehe. Thanks for the read.

I'm tired of telling people to look at the screenshots for a list of what is made by what class - 90 percent of them look at this text list, which isn't complete.
Please either make this list complete, or take it down. Thanks |

Sorry for my negative post above.
Calthine, if you get a moment during the next week or so, I'd greatly appreciate if you could compare the screenshots to the text list, there are some differences, and the screenshots are accurate. Thanks ![]() |
