I can only be shit on so many times.

Gnobrin, in his infinite wisdom...has banned me for forever from the official forums.

I am an asshole...and likely deserve it for many things...but not what I supposedly did this time...or the last time.

The previous ban was for linking to a site that contained vulgarity. It was clearly marked nsfw, which I have seen many regular posters do.

I was banned post haste.

I was banned this time for "trolling". I responded in that "Any Devs wanna explain this" thread...I watched a poster, Jovie come into the thread and begin throwing an attitude that we were all idiots for caring. Then he flat out insulted Flaye...I have done that too before, its fun occasionally. But when I responded with "Hey Brightboy, perhaps you dont want to insult people and...yada yada yada".

Funny thing is...that post NEVER made it onto the forums. Because they deleted his post insulting Flaye and all replies to it. I hit post after they did this. My post never saw the light of day.

My ban was 2wks up until I made a post here this morning in the thread that blew open the whole Transfergate...I suppose me calling Gnobrin Nobrain here helped with that...

I will not be repeatedly shit on by perhaps the worst Community Manager I have seen in a game forum.

I was pretty excited about this game coming back...I purchased the expansion and loved all the changes...

No game will ever hold a candle to this one for me...but at least I STILL have my integrity intact.

LFG, Illuminator...good luck in all you do and maybe someday we might get along. I do wish all of you well. Sorry for being such a dick...you guys genuinely care about this game.

and also, fwiw, I am not in ANY way encouraging people to leave. This is a great game, and if you like it you should stay.

Gnobrin is a bit quick on the trigger, but it does sort of follow their "nothing but business" approach to community management.

On the NSFW, that become a no go long ago (long before Gno). Sites linked from the official forums must follow loosely to the standard of the official forums or they can't be linked. Sorta why Flames wasn't allowed to be linked until they toned it down a bit. The thought there is that kids play the game and read the forums and they have a responsibility to keep it somewhat clean for the younger age group. Also kinda why I don't post there much as my own humor tends to be more adult. ;)

The official forums suck. When I still played I was perma banned on 2 accounts.

I could go over there and find probably a dozen threads with links like mine...but it really doesn't matter now.

Nothing against this forum, I actually am growing pretty fond of it...but there is some HARSH language here, lol...if they are letting links of this site go through...then I did nothing wrong.

I appreciate the post Savanja, its funny...I find myself here with you folks..and youre all being very nice. Last I remember with most of you here...we did not get along at all. I am glad to see you all well.

I recently found out about EQ2Flames and love this site. Anything that protects free speech is okay in my book. Plus the trash talking is awesome!
