I still have a Floppy Drive, in a box, in case I want to fdisk something or flash a BIOS.

Am I the only one that kept one around? I didn't install it in my computer because I only use it once every blue moon, but still, I have one and I keep it handy just in case.

Does this say I'm old school?

With DVDs costing $0.19 each, why not just burn one with a boot image when you want to fag it up with an outdated utility like fdisk? Also, what ghetto board are you using that doesn't have a Windows flasher?

I've placed the same one in the last 3 pc's I've built when was the last time I used it? Probably when I was trying to rescue some of the other junk PC's I've volunteered to work on for friends that needed a little nudge. Other than that I think the only thing mine does is keep mini dust bunnies from being homeless.

Nope. I got one in the drawer on my desk for if I need to format my system and re-install my RAID drive. I just bust open my side panel and plug it in if I need it.

If its just for home use then simply burn a cd/dvd, if you want to boot a machine elsewhere simply use a usb memory stick.
floppydisks are teh devil.
