Man, seriously? Very fucked up. Aside from the legalities and resource spending of departments that don't have it to spare, a couple of things occur to me..

1. Wouldn't it suck if response times were lowered for real incidents because now they need to confirm that horrible things are actually happening?
2. People REALLY get hurt during these raids, it's only a matter of time before an innocent gets a gunshot through the head trying to protect their home from invasion.

Its all fun and game til someone puts an eye out.

Just think if someone did that to your uncle or grandfather. He hears a noise outside, then the sounds of people breaking into his house (the SWAT team), so he grabs his gun to protect his family and his property, and ends up confronting who he thinks is a burglar. Yeah, they'll be yelling 'police, put the gun down' but in that situation you don't process shit right.

The special forces will be entering the situation believing there is a deranged guy somewhere in the house with a gun.

In the end, your family member gets riddled with holes because some little prick stranger was playing with the phones.

How is that funny?
