Freedom of speech does not mean you can say whatever you want, whenever you want. You cannot say "fire" in a theater nor can you say "bomb" in an airport.

I know that of course you can't do that. But if your on a cell phone outside of your work I'm pretty sure you have the right to say whatever the hell you want, saying is he dead yet or did someone kill him doesn't necessarily mean anyone is in danger irl.

She doesn't work in a paint factory or computer store. She works in a nursing home where they care for people.

I'm not saying I agree with the suspension. I'm just saying legal action is dubious because it is not out of line to question that remark where she works.

I see what you mean. Until we get more information though I don't see how they can arrest her without a motive. Someone just overhearing that doesn't mean anything unless there is a clearcut reason they suspect that person will actually be involved with killing someone.
