I played Baseball and Football at the Collegiate level. I ran track, played Basketball (although i sucked), and did Wrestling at the highschool level.

Out of those sports the best athletes were...Football players..and it really wasn't close except for the wrestlers.

Just because you don't understand the intricacies of the game doesn't mean they don't exist.

edit to add: I'm a huge pats fan, I picked them to win by less than 12...I think the fair line is about 9, but would not be surprised to see a blowout. I would be shocked to see it within 3 though.

I think you underestimate how big of an underdog the Patriots were that year by the General Public. If you ran this poll the week before that superbowl I wouldn't have been surprised to see a 82/18 split.

Pats are possibly the greatest team ever though, but the oddsmakers know what they are doing, and the spreads are pretty identical between the two games.

Everything in that is incorrect. Football players are generally the most out of shape. They just happen to be the biggest. And EVERY position can be played by just merely being genetically strong or grossly fat.

Your assessment of me is wrong. I as well played sports on the college level, and I can tell you with certainty, football players are th least out of shape of any sport. Besides that, they only play one side, so they don't even have to play a whole game. Fuck them, fuck you for being a giant pussy who has to live vicariously through others who made it, and fuck the Super Bowl.
