Sadly that happens =/ It makes it pretty damn hard for those like me to do their jobs right. The only thing i have to say though is do not lump all recruiters in the same boat.

You cant paint all recruiter with the same stroke. Pinski probably got a bad one. My recruiter called me and i told him to called me back in a month i let him know. Exactily a month later to the day he called me and i join.

I don't think recruiter 'lies' in my opinion it more like not the whole truth lol. Like for instanted my recruiter told me when i get back the army will pay 100% of my tuition. In itself it was not a lie but little did i know the tuition is only 25$ to a credit at most college lol.
Like most job there good and bad one but not all are bad. Even the army have a song.

my recruiter he lies to me,
'he told me that i can be what i want to be',
but here i am working for uncle sam for free.

I shouldn't have to call a number to get off darn soliciters list from calling me at home or having to call to get off the list were credit card companies send me pre approved letters etc etc. Unfortinitly that's just the way it goes and sometimes if you don't lilke haveing to go the extra mile to get shit done, well tough shit, that's life.

I'm with Pinski on this. While I'm sure it's not all recruiters, the guys that hound people like that are ones that fuck it up for everyone. As I'd assume was the case with Berkeley.
