Have you ever thought about like, what if this and this happened.. and how you would react? When I rode the bus, I used to be like.. Damn.. if this thing flips.. im totally gonna jump and land sideways and stand up and be like fuck yea i own. but it never happened. And I don't think I could do that if the bus went off an overpass

I never thought about what happens to you if the bus does this or that. It was an everyday occurrance to ride the bus, and you get comfortable do it without thinkin something bad was gonna happen. And I'm glad becuz as a kid you have enough to worry about. But it was usually things like classes, grades, choir, or track and I'm glad I didnt bog myself down with worrying about whether or not my bus was gonna slip and flip over in the snow or go over a guard rail...lol.

slightly amusing story.

When I was in early high school, possibly even middle school, I rode the bus about ehh..5 miles to school. Every day I rode the bus. Well one day a buddy of mine, who lived down the street ( he was a senior, worked on the shitty macs in the library) stopped to pick me up. The only day out of the entire year I didn't ride the bus.

I later came to find out that the fossilized corpse that shuttled my bus mates and I in what was essentially a steel tube to school, had driven the bus into the lake nearby. I don't remember why, but I remember something about her not getting her daily injection of formaldehyde. Cunt....and to this day she still drives that damn bus.

Wow.... she drives a bus into a lake and they kept her on the payroll? I would think thats grounds for termination.

my kiddo takes the bus; I rode the bus up till I could drive. playing sports I rode many buses, we wrecked once no one was hurt thankfully. stuff happens you could die just as easily walking to your mail box I just live it one day at a time and not try to freak out or else I'd need meds
