I used to work at a UPS warehouse hub in ohio. I wont ship UPS until i absolutely have to. With what I saw, hell, what i did, i have no desire to ship through them. People seem to be a lot less careful with packages when they aren't their's, and when they see each one for a total of about 3 seconds top.
I'm not saying people stole shit, because they didn't. I'll give them that. If you try to steal something, you WILL get caught there. But when you have packages coming every 3 seconds on the sort isle, and the belt is 10 feet away,(to draw a better picture of what the sort isle looks like.. picture a 4 foot wide hallway.. packages moving from left to right infront of you, and behind you 3 rows or 4 belts about 3ft wide each), you arent going to walk over there and set it down nicely every time, expecially if it's light enough
