LCD monitor issue . .

Anyone know what it could be if the monitor starts like .. refreshing when the PC boots up? It'll do it for about 5 mins then when I run EQ, it'll have these lines thru the screen .. Hanns-G (191D) said to try to unplug to refresh the memory on it, and uh .. try another cable but neither worked ..
They're taking forever and this month is just three months old .. first LCD :| and making me want my CRT back.

DVI or VGA Connector?

Try a VGA Connection if you're using DVI, else try the opposite. Could just be your video card is busted.

its in its natural thingy, its a DVI..
I figured it out I guess, I changed it out of its native 1440x900 down one notch and it works :| Fookin lame.

Sucks though, should always run LCD's at their native rez.

When I went to replace my old CRT that's one of the things I was warned about - that you'd better like the native rez.

agreed, it sooo sucks .. I got used to native rez but nothing I can do otherwise I gotta deal with it refreshing every 30-60 seconds .. I was gonna grab an LCD today but couldn't afford it even at the mega cheap prices so now I'm just waiting on them on what to do with this garbage monitor.

Have you tried it on another computer to make sure its not a videocard issue?

yeah funky lines for a while after booting sounds like a chance to be a temperature issue to me.. in addition to what Gaige said you can also make sure if the vid card has a fan on it that its working properly and getting cooling..

yeah .. even tried another monitor =\
and yeah I made sure the fan is working & cleaned
