He knows his stuff thats for sure, lighting and shadows and stuff are great. As for the tool used, well it doesn't matter that much really, you don't need fancy effects or tools to paint, all you need are the basics, talent, and a looooot of patience.
The only thing that makes Paint a bit worse is that you can't "undo" more then one step, but even that is better then pen and paper where you can't undo a thing :D

As a sidenote, anyone know what song that is? I can't be bothered to sign up and read the comments :D

A title like that shows severe ignorance considering the immense talent that is at play here. No, you don't lampoon that he takes the most basic of tools to create a work of unusual beauty; instead you dare to imagine what he could do with the best of tools.

i disagree. it's a complete waste of time he could have done the same thing in a different utility in half the time. to each their own but I still think the title is appropriate :D

Don't look at it and say, "He could have done that in a different program." Look at it and say, "Imagine what he could have done with that effort in a different program."

Chances are the program wouldn't matter much in this case, i mean sure he could probably learn to use some of the techniques in the other programs like photoshop but there would be a limit to what he could do.

Simply put, by using a program like paint he can create stuff that normal people think is awesome, but in other programs he might have to settle for "ok" or "good"

Don't get me wrong, i think its a great drawing and as I said in the other post he really knows his stuff when it comes to light and shadows and all that. I just don't agree with the whole "imagine if he had used better tools" thing
