Fact remains they want to create micro black holes on purpose and "if" hawking is wrong with his theory of the hawkings radiation(the micro black holes would vaporize so quickly they could only be detected by the their decay) it is going to be ugly.

Its a possibility that might occur and to ignore that fact is just foolish.

Whether or not it could happen, posting it on an MMO forum won't change the fact they're still going to turn the thing on in June.

Did you even look at that site you linked where they ask for money for their lawsuit against CERN they brought in Hawaii? On "What Scientists Say" that guy references himself and some random concerned people that supposedly wrote him letters. And then you come and say "it's true, someone on a forum told me so". Come on, that alone is enough to make fun of you... People "prove" alien abductions the same way.

Apart from that you should read up on the real physics behind thiese experiments. Particle physics are quite fascinating. I'm excited to see what they will discover with the work they are doing there and hope it will go ahead.

Don't worry, they are only opening the portal to Azeroth.

This will show the world once and for all that all of our seemingly wasted time spent reading, watching and playing in our little fantasy worlds will finally pay off as we unite and beat back the minions of evil!!

Yes i think it does. It all comes down to the question if Hawkings is right with his theory or not. We know he was wrong before and if hes wrong again.....well.
And i know that this i know a friend that knows...issue is always a thing people like to ridicule about but i assure you that this CERN physicist confirmed that this "might" happen.

They're not "intentionally" creating micro-black holes, the shadetree-used to be high school physics teacher in Hawaii that came up with this theory and the attempt at a restraining order called the mico-black holes he's worried about a byproduct. The problem with his theory is that under certain principles developed by einstein and still held true by physicists today, a black hole that can stabilize and do the damage you're worried about has a minimum size limit of 3 miles in diameter at the time of it's creation. Any black hole under that size can't sustain the event, and would wink in and right back out of existence in an unmeasurable amount of time. the LHC can't create a black hole that size.

On top of that, the aztec calendar says the world won't be destroyed until june 2012, so you have plenty of time to party.

who knows tho, what if we find a black hole smaller then 3miles! it could happen which means its reasonable to think it will happen. yay logic?

and it wont end in 2012, read up on it newb.

there are theories that there is a micro black hole in the Bermuda triangle. if that theory is correct, and its possible so that makes it reasonable, whats stopping this black hole from doing nothing?
