I don't know about you, but I really don't think blacks (or anyone else) need any more violent, gang-banging criminals as rolemodels. Maybe it's the fact that certain subsets of American culture look to shitstains like Tupac and BIG as rolemodels and leaders in the first place, that fuels violence. I mean.... if Tupac is the best you can do for a leader, you're fucked. If The Notorious BIG is the best you can do for a leader, you're fucked. They're the very same cocksuckers who promoted, lived, and were eventually killed by gang violence. The very bullshit "music" that they helped create and foster played a part in their death. The government and the media aren't to blame. Fools who glamorize violence, drugs, and gangs are to blame. Fuckwit kids who idolize those rapping fools are to blame. And foremost, the worthless parents of those fuckwit kids are to blame. Alicia Keys has no grasp on reality. Just like everyone else who blames The Man for rap, AIDS, or keeping this and that assclown down.

Sadly, Damocles... that is true quite often. My stepdad is black, and I have 3 half brothers who are black. When one of my little brothers joined the football team, he got a LOT of shit from some of the other kids because he wasn't "thug" enough and bullshit like that. He was strong enough in himself to not really give a fuck what others thought though hehe.
