well, her 300lbs of protective body fat had to have had some cushioning effect....
But yeah, I saw her on the tv this morning. pretty amazing, bullet went through the windshield and right between her eyes and deflected off her skull.

Well, take into consideration, a bullet hitting a winshield is gonna lose a lot of velocity, and flatten out.
The fact the bullet mushroomed out and lost speed is probably what saved her.
