3) Yer a lazy cunt. Go back and find the quotes or don't bring 'em up.
All I'm saying is, go try to have a conversation with someone about whether or not Jason Becker is more talented than Michael Angelo Batio, or Yngwie Malmsteen, or fucking Steve Vai even. While it's true that you can play more difficult music, that doesn't necessarily mean it sounds better and is more creative, does it? Some people would say a musician is more talented than another because they create good feel and tone in their music, rather than lighting fast scales. Really, it all becomes opinion at the end of the day at how people define "talent" in music.

Shaky (btw) perhaps...Unconvential I guess but all in all it worked so w/e.

Yes, yes I am.

Again, adding quotes around talent only shows that any subjective arguments about it have nothing to do with real talent, they have to do with perceived talent (eg. she is really talented because her music makes me want to dance). Real talent has nothing to do with subjective things like "feeling" and "tone", it has to do with a demonstrated ability that is superior to another.

Arguing about talent subjectively, would be like saying "The sun is better than quarks because it makes me feel happy".

The extra "e" in shaky comes from b"e"er.

Elvis Costello was obviously wrong and, perhaps, a little stupid himself.
