Cool. I was a firefighter in the Army and went through the fire school when it was still at Chanute AFB in Illinois.

I was a Volunteer fireman here on Long Island for about 15 years, but gave it up a few years back when the place turned into an old ladies sewing circle.

Gone were the days when men were men, and women were relegated to the Ladies Auxillary.

I do miss a good old fashioned snot-slinger though.
