Yeah, but people being able to edit the information makes for good bullshit checks. I hate to say it, but professors don't always know what the hell they are talking about. When I had to take a stupid biology class to graduate, I usually read up on the topic from wikipedia and got a better understanding than what the teacher would try to explain. I guess I am still just bitter with my college experience and teachers not going a shit about students, but that was just my experience. For the record I went to Oregon State and got an engineering degree. It has a very respectable engineering program, but I think that leads to an arrogance from the institution that takes away from the program.

Also Illum, I was pointing out the code of Hammurabi and saying that the whole eye-for-eye thing was very literal because it does make a difference. The original intent was to be a very specific law, not a maximum. The whole idea of it being a maximum punishment came later. I think that it seems a bit extreame because of the way society is now. If biblical scholars saw the law in a different light, it was from 1700 years of society changes. Obviously we have had twice that and the code seems even more extreame. This does not change the fact that the original code(law) was exactly as written.

Can I tell you that I haven't had Dairy Queen fries in so long? I grew up in VA and the Dairy Queen there used to make the most amazing fries ever.

I move up to NJ and all they serve here is ice cream. I was a sad sad girl that day.
