I have a 5' bullsnake Ive had for about 12 years. I rescued him out of the garage of our State Rep. He'd been trying to kill it with a rake and gouged its eye pretty bad. Snake (Humphrey) was just a baby...about 11" back then. I'll have to find my camera battery and get a pic.

Damiean was an escape artist. He somehow managed to climb out of his tank (With a locked top) and out the open window (it was summer, we opened the window when they went "blue" for the humidity to help them shed). More than likely he survived the summer, but that winter was brutally cold.
After that ordeal, we triple check the top of the cage.

I miss having a cat. =(
Ours was the coolest. Damn near thought he was a dog. He'd greet you at the door, loved to rough house. His favorite treat was tuna fish. The minute you opened up that can, he'd make a beeline to you and start meowing his head off.

It depends on the cat. You have to watch them at first to find out if they're cord chewers, climbers, and other things that can get them hurt bad if you don't catproof certain parts of your place.
