The season finale was a little disappointing, they could've made it a lot better. One thing they could've done was kept House in a coma. Not as good as last week's episode I would have to say, but still above average.

I was actually kinda shocked they let him come out of the coma, killed off Amber, and revealed that 13 had Huntingtons rather then letting some of those "cliff hang" till next season.

The only thing they left to question is how Ambers death is going to effect Wilson and Houses' relationship. And from the look on Wilsons face, we might already have the answer to that as well.

Instead of the questions "Will house wake up?" "Will 13 get the test?", and so on, they left people with the questions as you put: "How will wilson's and house's relationship take the hit?", "Will 13 quit now that she has confirmation of the disease?" (As she had suggested doing when house found out her mother had died from Huntingtons), and "Yes, house woke up from the coma, but is he anything more than a brain damaged person incapable of doing what he used to?"(Or if it would be like what happened to Foreman, where a couple of episodes would reflect his recovery).

Just substituted some questions for more questions, I prefer it this way, so they don't have to have an episode at the beginning of the season just to unveil what was learned in one minute of this episode, and can immediately begin laying the storyline for the next season.

I thought it was good, but was also sort of wondering why there were no "real" cliffhangers. But I have to admit, it was quite a depressing ending.

agreed, one of the saddest episodes i've seen on tv. I watched it on tivo just now (3am) and almost called my gf when it was over. Sappy I know lol

Possibly they left it like that just in case it doesnt bget picked up next seaon they dont leave the true fans with an MAJOR unanswered questions. Love the show tho

It's getting picked up, its all set, it's premiering Sept. 2, 2008.

I am glad there were no cheesy cliffhangers like a lot of shows have. It would have been too annoying watching a whole episode about Amber and then not knowing if she died or not.

Basically, the cliffhanger is everything someone else stated in this thread.. biggest thing is what will happen to the House/Wilson relationship. They have stated in interviews that there WILL be a H/W rift, so that's pretty much for sure. But in what way, out right anger by Wilson, or depressing guilt by House? Or just horrible awkwardness that kills their friendship?

What will happen to 13. Huntingtons usually begins to appear after your 40s, so it's not like she's all of a sudden going to die next season from it. If its realistic. So it will be about her dealing, us wondering if she's going to quit her job, or 'be better' or 'worse.'

Also, there have been mentions of House/Cuddy in interviews. She was the only one that stayed with him while he was laying there.. Wilson might be mad at House, or too depressed to act the same etc. So who might House have to turn to? Seems like Cuddy from the finale.

I like this a lot. I am so glad the actual events of what happens to whom have been answered so that the season premiere will dive right into the good stuff about characters, relationships, how people have changed etc.
