I found some but they are all mpeg video files and I just want the normal mp3 file. Also I don't think it's a "real" song I know it's a remix but not sure who made it so may not be very popular.

Or is there anyway to change the mpeg file into an MP3? I remember doing something like this once just can't remember how.

TMPGenc has a demuxer that lets you split a mpeg into audio and video. It'll likely be a mp2, though (but anything that can play mp3 can play mp2).

I'm not sure if you got this all squared away Cal but, there's not much bloated code in Prism & Switch Sound. I used them today and, think they should be just what you need.
