Plus no matter who John AboutToKickTheBucketMcCain makes his VP no one will be able to stop Obama & Hilary.
She would bring Obama states like Kentucky, Indiana, and other appalachian states Obama has been unable to win in.

The more pationate about their candidate people get, the less likely they'll be to admit they'll support someone else should that candidate lose. I think its safe to say that we've got two candidates who inspire a great deal of passion from their respective supporters.
That'll change. Clinton supporters will vote for Obama with or without her on the ticket. He needs independents and undecideds, not someone else who was trying to be a "first".

Though, Evan Bayh has been pushing for Hillary since she started running for office. I think he was hoping to get the VP nod, which would have helped to prep him for his own run for the office after Hillary left office in 8+ years.

If he does, I hope he can get a refund on all that "CHANGE" merchandise he bought.
She will hold out long enough to cut a deal for him to pay her debts so he can then get a running mate that compliments his message; not undercuts it.
She is poison.

Throw Hillary on there, and every social conservative will be voting for McCain, no matter what. Obama's already got it tougher because he's black, and I'm not sure if he'd be able to pull it off if he had a woman VP.
Not to mention, after all the sore loser shit that Hillary's been pulling, picking her up would mean picking up a lot more baggage then necessary. The cons of picking up Hillary, as opposed to someone else are just too great.

I've got to agree with this assessment. I think that Obama probably should look strongly at Bill Richardson; someone that is able and independent, white enough not to ruffle those feathers, but still represents the latino vote. Plus his various experiences in government would be invaluable to Obama, especially through the shit storm that would be his first year in office.

That would pretty much guarantee a win. If the Ticket went Hillary-Barack instead, there would still be a win, but by a narrower margin. If Obama picks anyone but Hillary, we'll have closer matches, similar to the last 2, where it all comes down to one state's tallies. And if it's Hillary and anyone else, McCain will win by enough to make the defeat obvious, and Hillary may as well go the way of Al Gore and get activist instead of political.

With Hillary in either position on the ticket, against McCain, I'd expect the lowest voter turnout ever. The voters just can't win in that scenario.
