I think if Hillary accepted a 2nd in command position with him.. It would be a landslide vote IMO.

I think Hillary would weaken his chances.

Right now, he polls well with independents, but so does McCain and that's where this election will be won or lost. That and McCain has a problem with the far right, Hillary would solve that problem for him.

Democrats will get behind Obama by the fall. He's got a lot of work to do in the key swing states in the rust belt. Ed Rendell would help immensely in that regard.

She will divide the ticket. Even now, she hasn't stepped aside for the sake of the party. The day and age of having the President and VP at odds with each other died in Dallas.

She's a liability; not an asset. He would be a fool to ask her. In fact, he could shoot himself in the foot asking any politician from the perceived "old guard."

There is no fucking way she will run with Obama after this, nor would he want her to after not giving up when she's obviously beat.
