To a religious person, that is just as bad as me telling you "Your going to HELL when you die!"

It's just plain dumb to argue about religion at all. Discussion is ok, but argument is pointless.

That being said, I also can see Laodaron's point in a way. Those who condem christianity or condemn ALL religions tend to do the same thing that these "Fire n Brimstone" christians do... which is to piss people off.

I fully support spreading christianity, as long as it is non-aggressive and tempered with reason and understanding. Like say "Hey man, there is this option, and I think it's a great choice!".... if they don't like it then say "Ok, well have a nice day then, if you change you mind you know where to find me".

The marine was a fuck up and deserved to be punished. Does he realize that he puts his fellow marines in danger by disregarding regulation for his own agenda. It is a fucking war zone. These people see soldiers handing out religious materials holding guns..they think that this is a holy war.

There is a reason that there is a regulation. It has nothing to do with religious freedom..it's minimizing the amount of our soldiers that we have to bury. Let's just do our job and get the fuck out of there. The marine can return later without a gun in a missionary group if he's determined to make a religious change.

God damn..fuck ups like him just piss me off to no end...

try not to lump all Christians into the Roman Catholic faith please.
maybe do some research on the various religions? You may find one worth believing in.

You are doing a fine job taking them all with salt though! Just try and limit it to a grain =p

Try and look past the politics as well, having faith should not mean going to church weekly and listening to one mans point of view.
