Our soldiers shouldn't be out recruiting for any religion... This isn't a crusade. People should be free to have their own religion, and shouldn't be recruited to ours at gunpoint. I'd expect the Army to do the same if a Muslim soldier was in Rome handing out copies of the Koran.

As a christian myself, it's nearly impossible for me to condemn this type of behavior. If this marine truly believes in Christianity, and truly believes in heaven and hell, then how can he NOT try to show people the way?

Relating it to EQ2.... if you Truly believed or "Knew" that Fens of Nathsar was bugged, and anyone who zoned into it would crash and not be able to log back in for a week.... wouldn't you try to warn them? Kinda like that with heaven and hell.

Now I'm not in favor of shoving my religion down anyone's throat... because there is little to be gained from pissing people off, but I see little harm in at least trying to point someone in the right direction from time to time.

A friend of mine once compared atheists to christians and said "If your a christian and you die, and it turns out that you were wrong.... no big deal.... but if your an atheist and you die... and it turns out you were wrong..... well damn. Big freakin deal there!"

I'm against people throwing their ideals onto others, period. No matter what it is, religion, politics, whatever. Obviously that makes me recruiting for my religion somehow, but no, you're dumb Laodaron, just because you are against recruitment for religion doesn't make you recruiting for your own religion.
