I've heard that line a thousand times but humor doesn't really work on this situation very easily. Why don't you study the very culture you claim to know so well. The very core of homosexuality is all sex-driven. As I said, I'm not going to bother going into all the fun things that will transpire once a bunch of sodomites start acting like married people, but the truth is from whatever perspective you come from, you can NEVER be like a normal family.

Marraige is about creating a FAMILY. You will NEVER have the ability to create a family. Sure, you can adopt, but this just builds on a faulty foundation. It's not about two people joining together, that's the start; the GOAL is a family.

All this being said, our society is degenerating. I will almost promise you that you will have your chance at marraige before you die.

Maybe the culture is built on frivolous sex because they can't make anything more substantial without jumping through absurd legal hoops. But you know, that point is kinda moot because for 1. Hetero-culture is just as sex driven and 2.people that only give a shit about sex wouldn't be fighting so hard to fuck themselves in a breakup. The sex must be really damned good though for so many of these couples to have stuck together for 15+ years.

So, from your family perspective I take it that sterile people shouldn't be allowed to marry either? We've long since passed the classic definition of family and are well beyond what was meant in biblical marriage. Marriage in modern western society is all about the expression of love and devotion and everyone should be allowed that.
And again, you look at the history of our Western society and think gays are the sign of dengeneration? did you miss all the mass murders, slavery, rapes, women burning, back stabbing...you're the expert, why am I listing it?
