What's really funny is actually warning people about terrorism, and using our military to defend against it is considered fear mongering, war mongering, etc. However, using this strategy, its called caring for Mother Earth....I love watching that crazy side of the political spectrum bash their collective heads against a wall to prove a point.

Of course, an asshole with no idea of what moderation is would go with this. I never said lash out. I never said sheer panic. However, we need to be aware of the threat, and the reason we are occupying 2 Arab nations at the current time.

If your religion includes blowing me up, you don't deserve your religion, nor your freedoms. If you and others like you want to allow people into this country to murder you in the name of God, feel free to vote how you want to. However, I, as well as plenty of other intelligent people who AREN'T blind to the actual threat will continue to place people in office who will do everything they can to prevent it. Anyone who gives a fuck about bon fires over the fact that at any moment, any number of terrorist organizations could probably hit any location they wanted to is just plain retarded. And comparing the 2 is the primary reason that our country is in such turmoil at the time. There is NO corollation between scaring people over fires and informing people of an actual threat.
