IMO everything would have played out and things would be back to normal today if Calthine didnt start suspending people. I dont think a 3 day suspension is a big deal, but it was blown out of proportion by a lot of other people, and it escalated from there. LFG did what was necessary to control the situation after that. People had a problem with Gaiges parts being up in a link. If the pictures were removed from the link, and people were allowed to talk about it and flame away, it would have burnt itself out without all the unneccesary drama.

Yes, and then we wouldn't have retarded polls like this where people try to get themselves banned so they can fit in. Some people are really fucking pathetic.

Yeah, in hindsight, well, live and learn.

That won't happen again, at least not in similar circumstances. Seemed like the right plan when we discussed it previously, sucked in implimentation.

However, since the discussion is STILL going on over links vs pics, I don't think my suspensions added that much to the fire.

LFG hasn't gone far enough imo. He should ban everyone until the day after boxing day, reduce all postcounts to zero and change everyone's tagline to "Fae Zerker". Level the playing field, that'll sort it.
