Judging by the responses I was getting, it seemed as if everyone was sick of the 2 – 3 political threads populating the 21 or so threads visible at any given time on the first page.

I guess the masses just want unfettered access to their “hypocondriac boyfriend/soccer/beat your head on a rock” threads. No biggie.

I stopped seeing any effort by most with an opposing viewpoint long ago anyway. It just isn't sporting any longer.

McCain is a complete disaster. The guys got one foot in the grave. Seriously, how many companies out there would hire a CEO that could kick the bucket any day now?

The guy has zero leadership skills.

After seeing his general election speech, I'm amazed how people could consider him in a leadership role. I wouldn't trust that guy to walk my mom across the street let alone lead this nation.

He has surrounded himself with losers that could barely manage his campaign budget, let alone understand the complex U.S. budget.

He's championed bills that violate the First and Second Amendment in the McCain-Feingold Incumbent Protection Bill and numerous other bills sponsored by him...sponsored is the key here. He has gone OUT OF HIS WAY to sponsor infringements on peoples rights. Obama may have voted on bills in a liberal manor but he hasn't made it a point to make this priority #1 and pursue these infringements so adamantly as John McBush has.

Here, this site should keep you busy if you don't believe this crap.

GOA's Take On John McCain

Although Conservatives don't agree with many issue Obama is putting forth in this campaign at least they are consistent. McCain has flipped on almost every issue that is dear to conservatives from taxes to Constitutional rights. Voting in McCain will send the message to Republicans it is OK to vote in a candidate that flip flops on almost every major issue, going from the moderate right to the extreme left and further destroy the Republican brand. If you vote in McCain there is no telling how he will vote on issues dear to you.

Republicans have run and ruined this show for long enough. They are slowly turning into an almost fascist regime, throwing the Constitution out the window and infringing on peoples rights. They have forgotten the phrase, for the people, by the people and believe they have the right to break laws when they see fit.

Obama is making it one of his #1 issues to make the government more transparent. Barack Obama | Change We Can Believe In | Ethics Here you can find Obama's plan to make the government accountable for their actions through transparency. It may only be a start but its a start in the right direction.
