Doesn't anyone else get that constant ding ding ing if the passenger doesn't wear a belt? It was a fairly new car, I thought those things were mandatory these days.

Not on a Supra...

Edit - It looked to be a older model, 2000-2002 im guessing (They stopped making them in 2002) , just new parts/paint, tbh. I may be wrong tho...hard to tell with how fucking mangled it was....

It was an older model Supra designed for drag racing, they still haven't been able to find the seat belt. I read somewhere he was racing against his Dad's Viper.

Quote:
TMZ, our morally bankrupt yet lovable sister site beneath this big AOL umbrella, did some digging and uncovered that Nick has been charged four times for unlawful speeding since September 2006, despite having his license for just one year. Those charges, which include last night's accident, also include a violation for going 115 mph in a 70 mph zone, 57 mph in a 30 and 106 mph in a 70. The link to TMZ also contains a video of Nick doing a burnout in his brand new Viper in front of his mom last December.

The driver is responsible. He was driving recklessly and under the influence. Seat belts be damned.

Anyways, that movie is fucking sad. Clearly hes being kept alive because of what remains of his brain stem. Hes a computer stuck at BIOS. A hive without workers. A terry shiavo.

Whats truly sad is if the son died in the wreck maybe the hulk son would have been given a remotely appropriate sentence. But that shell of a human being lets him off the hook and he doesn't even feel sorry for it?

Un fucking believable.

"God's will" is a legit concept but Hulk Hogan's use of it here was crass and ignorant considering the gaping hole in the victim's head.

I've been following this for a few days now, and yeah. It's absolutely disgusting. "It's God's will" is such fucking bs in this scenario, and his son makes me want to punch him in the face, too.

It is hard to pick a good side here. As a mother myself I do feel sorry for John's mom. But I also think keeping him alive like that is terrible. But I am not sure how I could ever make the choice for my child.

Like Illy said.... HE, John, chose to get into a car with Nick intoxicated and then NOT wear a seatbelt. Nick had his on if I remember correctly. I would have to say he did, seeing as he wasn't injured badly.

John also street raced, been pulled over many times, and I read somewhere John himself had a suspended license for wreckless driving. Does that mean he "desserved" it? No. But he did make vital choices that night that he did not have to.

"God's will"? Someone explain to me how it is his will to have someone with a hole in his head and missing half his brain??? Being kept a live b/c that ONE peice of brain needed to function is still intact. I see what Hulk was menaing, it just was not conveyed properly. The media has a nice way of distorting things that were said.

I think Nick should have had a longer sentence for driving drunk and wreckless driving causing an accident. I believe firmly that he should not be punished for what happened to John. John CHOSE his fate by getting in the car and then not wearing a seatbelt.

Ok that was my opinion.... =)

That's insane. You're saying as the driver of an automobile you bare no responsibility for the safety of your passengers? Seriously? You really believe that?
