You know what's sad... I made the most money when I waited tables. I worked at a TGI Fridays and worked 4-5 shifts a week and made a buttload for what little hours I REALLY worked. =(

I like working in a bank for the most part. I get to talk to people all day. =)

I worked in Tele-marketing throughout college. Yes, the job sux, but they pay you really well. Maybe do that?

I have heard pretty good things about UPS and FedEx delivery jobs. They should have evening/late night positions too for sorting and such if the daytime jobs get in the way of school. I think they offer benefits and 401 stuff too.

I worked at FedEx, it's hard work, but the hours are flexible and it's a good workout.

Winner if you can fit it in your schedule. I had a friend work at UPS for all 4 years, they gave him 10 grand a year for tuition plus very nice pay and benifits. I think the standard shift was 6pm - midnight or something like that. Only problem is that you need to be available 5 nights a week so one night class and you're fuct.

FedEx has multiple shifts. I worked 5pm-11pm and they had a optional 2am-7am, not sure what the morning shift was (I was in school.).

Fuck UPS.

It took them 6 months to call me back after they had me fill out everything like I had been hired. All the extra stuff that they wouldn't need unless I was hired. I had done all the interviews then too.

SO anyway, I finally get a call in October, they had promised me 20-25 hours. Perfect. Cause I was in High School and didn't need more then that.

I would get home from school around 250ish, and the UPS warehouse was about 15 minutes away. so 4-9 would be great for me.

Starts off at 4-9, then 330-9, then 3-9, and eventually they want me there at 1oclock and work till 10. WTF?

Um, I'm sorry, I go to SCHOOL DURING THE DAY.

So I would get yelled at every time, then explain, hey faggots, I still GO TO HIGH SCHOOL.

So 20-25 hours turned into go to school come home leave for work in 2 minutes, work all night (get your ass kicked btw) come home pass out. No time for homework, no time for anything social, no video games, nothing.

so then, 40+ hours a week ( which would be great if you could actually do it, great pay and overtime) ... the week after christmas, turned into 3.

yes, 3 hours.

I would get there, and they would say eh we don't need more people go home. but if i called they would tell me to come in, then send me home when I got there, along with 20+ other people on the sort line.

So I left that and got my job at a ski resort.

If you can deal with their bullshit, work 5-40 hours a week (never know how much you will work) they have great benefits.. pretty much full time benefits for a "part time" job, and good pay, then go apply. But don't get your hopes up imo.
