I suppose in the kid's defense.. it'd be one hell of a ride if he could have grabbed someones ankles and held on for the duration of the ride.
But as consolation for the family, I bet they can save money with a shorter coffin if they lay him out with his head in his lap.

My question is, where was the family, sure the kid was 17, but shouldnt they know where he is @ all times still, aren't they responsible till age 18?
and I know I know, easier said than done, but wtf... They could at least have knocked some sense into his dumb ass.
