He is not publicly financed whatsoever. Somehow he has tricked large portion of people into thinking private donations are somehow some perverted form of public funds depending on who you receive them from and then exploiting that.

This line of logic makes even churches public institutions, b/c well they are funded by the "public."

EDIT - I don't blame him for doing it. If I were running for president I would do the same thing. Why not? Spend more than the other guy if you have it. The problem I have is don't honestly insult my intelligence. People can't honestly be this stupid and if they are +1 Barrack.

I'm still trying to figure out what the fuck Bill Clinton's "Bridge to the 21st Century" was supposed to be.

Obama's Universal Coverage now gives the Federal Government a hedge it can use to control peoples' every lifestyle habit ("we're paying for it so you do as we say"). Everyone pays for everyone else's drug habits, abortion-on-demand, and anything else you can think of. Where does he say a word about the excessive lawsuits which were largely blamed for the healthcare cost increases in the first place? Or is it a "civil right" to sue the medical industry into non-existance?

It was his idea that everyone in the US has the right to own their own home and the legislation he helped pioneer. It was visioned as financing that couldn't be refused based upon your income and that would cover bank costs with slightly above average interest rates.

Sounds really fucking familiar.

Well you see now what happens when home ownership is treated like a right instead of a responsibility.

And I look through this "blueprint" and wonder how Obama's federal spending enthusiasm is in any way different from Dubya's. The only ultimate way to cut federal spending is to constitutionally limit it only to the federal government's actual powers. i.e. If the federal government can't tell you what color to paint your house, then the federal government shouldn't be allowed to give you money for paint. But then there goes most of Obama's "blueprint".

He also has his usual "path to citizenship" schtick for immigration, which is pretty much the incentive any illegal has in mind when camping on our turf, employer penalties and border fences (though still necessary) be damned.

And we all know Obama wants to rid the world of nuclear weapons by getting rid of ours first. What a swell guy.

It's not that he did it that bugs me, I saw it coming, it's that he made himself seem a martyr by doing it. Most of his donated funds come in fact from the same type of power donors that supported Hillary.

Don't worry though, if that's pushed you to the brink of not voting for him, this summer is going to push you clear to the opposition out of spite.

Oh and Obama news reporters, I'd appreciate if you just came out and said you were biased as opposed to being anything close to independent because it's obvious when pro-Obama news, no matter trivial like this speech gets posted yet when he flops, hedges or otherwise blatantly betrays principle nothing gets said. As I said before, all politicians are liars, all you ever can go by is thier history and in Obama's short one he's shown himself to be a politician more concerned with his own self preservation than any principle so far. Keep drinking the Kool-aid until November and if he wins by 2012 you'll be wondering how you ever got a president worse than W. Bush.

I was thinking it could have also been NAFTA and he confused "21st Century" with Mexico.

By NAFTA, you're referring to the agreement signed by Bush 41? The same one that McSame wants to essentially expand to include Columbia?

That NAFTA?
