Great Message About Patriosm for this Important Week in our History
Thought I'd share for anyone that didn't see Obama's message in Independence, Missouri. It's 28 minutes long but a 28 minutes well spent. Refreshing to hear a leader that has a positive and inspirational outlook on this Nations future. Anyhoot, enjoy.
Sean is a lapdog for the Rovian machine. He's good at repeating the same exact message day in day out. I think he may have started early on this one as most people tune out to what he has to say, except for the mentally ill and obsessive compulsive. I tune into his program on WMAL to see what kind of talking points the right wing nut jobs are spinning from time to time. Amazing how they all echo the same exact points to a T day in day out.
Anyhow, you seem to like fun web sites. Here, a working list of all of McCains flip flops. This guy is like a fish out of water flippitty, flip flop flappin' floppin' every other day. IHOP needs to make a McCain Special. 5 flip floppin' flap jacks with 2 eggs flipped over easy. I account all his flip flopping to his old age and he forgets on where he stands. FFS he is against his own Immigration Bill!!! Anyways, here's the link. Cheers.
I've really been getting into Olbermann lately. I never gave him a chance because a) I rarely watch MSNBC and b) It's hard to think of him doing something other than Sportscenter.
But after I heard Carlin basically say that Countdown was his favorite political program on TV after Maher, I decided to give him a chance. I gotta admit, it's pretty funny, and he's got a knack for making guys like Hannity & O'reilly look like the fools that they are.

Olbermann's great but I prefer Hardball w/ Chris Mathews. Chris is a smart guy that asks tough questions of people. He's great at putting people on the spot in interviews to make them squirm like little rats.

Matthews' laugh annoys the fuck out of me.
Plus he's a bit of an Obama sycophant for a host of a show of that nature.

Illu, exactly what do you want me to get out of the neocons letter?
I'll explain the most recent Supreme Court rullings for you since I'm not quite sure you can comprehend exactly what was transcribed.
First off, we had the First Amendment Ruling which was basically a rebuttal of part of the McCain-Fiengold Campaign reform. The Supreme court found it unconstitutional, basically taking a big dump on McCain.
Secondly, we had the Second Amendment Ruling which overruled DC's outright hand gun ban by clarifying the meaning of the right to bare arms into being everyone individual right to own a hand gun. This had never been clarified before. DC has had the ban for 30 years now. Since the law had never been overturned, it was not deemed unconstitutional therefore, other localities followed suit, that being Chicago and various suburbs and San Francisco. Inevitably, the NRA will challenge the remaining out right bans and they will be overturned. One problem with Alito's wording that left this wide open was in how he worded that handguns are a right within reason. I'm not sure why people are up in arms. Obama has chosen to observe the high courts ruling and respect it and is grateful for the clarification as I'm sure the rest of the U.S. is.
Lastly, we had the Fourth Amendment Ruling, that being what is being touted as the Telecom Immunity Law. Obama has made it clear as to why he supports this and it shows Obama cannot and will not be cornered into this far left radical persona the Repugs are trying to portray him as. Obama clearly stated, his reasoning for supporting this, is now the courts can oversee the entire process. In other words, there can be criminal liability. This is an important step. The negotiation that took place is there can be no civil liability.
You can try and paint Obama any way you want, but one thing he will not be painted as, is a far left radical extremist not willing to cross party lines and negotiate for the better of this Nation.
