Its just a conversation, don't look too deeply into it. Yeesh
His words are all I can use to look into him. Regardless, the comment was me wondering if it was these primaries and if so at what point or if it was back in 2004. He didn't exactly suffer as a kid so I'm curious to the context.

I know people get sick and tired of my Obama rants but if he comes near you during this election, his rallies are worth going to, just from a standpoint of seeing a great speaker with a great message work a crowd. I don't doubt he'll be considered one of the greatest communicators in U.S. history.
My dad voted against Bill Clinton both times but still took time to drive to a rally just to shake his hand while still president. Maybe Bill was a great guy in person but that didn't mean we all wanted him as president.
I know people get sick and tired of my McCain responses but if he comes near you during this election, his town halls are worth going to, just from a standpoint of seeing a great politician with a real history talk with the crowd. I don't doubt he'll be considered one of the best senators in U.S. History.

Think Henry Clay has a firm hold on that title, tbh.

Prolly. That wasn't the point of the statement though. McCain, while his accomplishments are substantial, doesn't have anything that would would put him in league with Henry Clay or Lyndon Johnson. Look at the corresponding statement about Obama and see what I was doing.
