ps, racism has, does, and always will exist.
Everyone has some in them, whether they show it or not. Get over it.
edit - at first, tldr, but i went back and read it.
obama didn't fight back when he was called a muslim? he didnt stand up for his patriotism?
seriously?
why the fuck should he have to prove hes not a muslim, i mean, hes stated multiple times that hes NOT a muslim, and people still go and call him one based on what exactly?
so, the uneducated, will blast him with unpatriotic, muslim, racial comments.
nice

Old politics is about results, the "New" is supposed to be about principle. From everything Obama espouses, it's not whether you win or lose, it's how you play the game. So far, he's played the same old game. The hard truth in all those would be to go on Hannity's America and ask him, "Why does that even matter?" and stare the bigotry right in the eyes. So far, all he's done is whine about the attacks having to come from "somewhere"(implication at the time was Hillary) and his repeated espousal of his being a Christian. In a country that's supposed to be free of religous tests, why is he acting like he has to pass one?
While bigots will always be bigots, they are not the target audience. The target is those who can be swayed, those willing to examine themselves and correct their flaws, those who have hidden their values in the shadows of America since 9/11. Obama says,"I coming home!"to Selma, seems it's just for a speech with just words and not the heart of what Selma represents.
