I recently tried to put a CD into my cars cd player for the first time. It's a 2002 ford with the basic cd player. I don't know if it's broken or if I'm just not hitting the right buttons. I forgot where I put my manual so I can always buy a new one but if anyone has this radio/cd player in their car please tell me how to use it lawls thanks.

Yes it is. I press that and it says select which CD. I press a number and it tells me no CD in that slot.

is there a cd changer in the glove compartment?

Your CD player is trying to convert you.

But, yeah, there should be a changer in the glove compartment or under one of te front seats.

So what is the little slit for that says CD-6? Just for show?

Just checked all those places including the trunk and nothing =(

It's all internal right there... When you hit load, it takes a second then it says insert disc? Hit load a second time and it takes longer then says the same? It's similar to my Mazda 6-disc changer (ford owns mazda so no suprise there).
At the top it says < DISC > ... thats disc select, and whichever disc is playing when you hit eject, it gets spit out.

When I hit load I had all 6 slots. In slot 6 it said it was full. So I tried to eject slot 6 and it said CD error. When I tried to slot 1 it said No disk. When I tried to eject 2 and 4 it said ejecting blinked for a bit and then nothing happened =/
