I'm merely pointing out that we're not all puppets that just believe everything you say, especially when you're attempting to backtrack a slip or intentional attack on United States soldiers fighting in whatever region across the world. Your snide comment to me about "is it time for my trip yet?" was enough evidence to show me what you really meant.

The point is we are not enemies. We all have the same destination, just plotting a different course.
I didn't read it as obvious sarcasm, but if some do, some do. If it was sarcasm, it was disguised really well beneath a pile of anger. If it was, it was. I've just noticed a distinct direction Otis's posts have been heading lately....

No, he's upset because he's too stupid to fucking read, let alone do anything other than join the Army to pay for the kid he's saddled with because he knocked up that skank down the block, while pretending to be all noble, as if he had a choice in enlisting.

Hey, I'd be pissed too.

There you go Otis. Thats my point. Maybe his reality was. "He knocked up some skank and decided he wasn't going to sit around on his ass collecting welfare. Instead he saw and opportunity going into the armed forces, and with what he has seen firsthand and is loathe when people make him out to be a koran crotch rubbing, puppy killer. Fully knowing no one in his combat troop has ever done anything rather than try and help people."

The story is backwards....but to each his own I suppose.

I was in the National Guard and deployed. I still am actually in the National Guard, however, full time. I didn't knock up a skank, she was my wife. I didn't do anything to be noble, I did it cause there wasn't much better to do and I needed a break from school. When I get back I'll finish my degree. In my time. How I want to. Your assumptions of my life from the bits and pieces I've mentioned here aren't incredibly intelligent, however, I knew some idiots would make them. You see, Otis, its very sad to watch you deteriorate into this lower type of person, but I guess you've been this way all along, just not so transparent to the rest of us.

But hey, if I was a sad, angry middle aged man with some sort of chip on my shoulder, I'd be awfully jealous of the youngsters too.

Either way, he's still too stupid to realize when he's wrong. Its a recurring theme over the last year and a half. Look it up.

Wow, this was really uncalled for Otis. They are right, lately you are just resorting to name calling and bashing, it's like you are grasping at straws. I used to really enjoy the back and forth between you guys because you had intelligent debates but this disgusted me. Sorry

a) What was uncalled for? That I got personal with Laodaron? I just returned fire, fuck him.

b) Look around. All those really smart people I used to have (and enjoyed having) good back and forth with...stopped posting long ago. So you'll have to excuse me if I get testy having to explain myself for the umpteenth time to the same two fucking rednecks.

If you guys haven't read it I'd suggest getting "The Second Civil War" its pretty good.
When government gets as big and all-encompassing as it is now, there's less and less local delegation and to get anything done you have to do it at the top. When there is one master for everything, one size will always have to fit all. And all three branches of government are to blame for that, and it's why I see partisanship being as big a problem as it is.
