Well, some news releases claimed it was true. Further drug testing proved it wasnt. The kid will eventually get out of his holding cell (as it was stated he was still in there today).

I'm pretty sure people who go crazy from taking acid didn't have a long trip to get there. I've done some entirely stupid shit drunk, stoned and/or tripping, but I'm 100% certain I had at least a little clue that what I was doing was fucking reckless. And I know for a fact I've done more self-endangering shit drunk than on anything else.

However some people really don't handle having their visual reality ripped away from them and drastically altered, so it might drive them a bit mad.

I have tripped for 5 days straight off of 1 dose (ok a puddle on my tongue) and it didn't make me any crazier after it wore off. Maybe even a little bit more grounded in reality after the experience.

Feeding other people LSD without their knowing is just downright criminal though. Not fucking cool at all.
