No one is attacking Iran before they have either a clearly demonstrated nuclear ability or their facilities are assured to be destroyed in a single strike. Ahmenijhad is not as powerful as his bluster and the Ayatollahs are more practical than ideological, so there is no urgent threat. Hillary was derided for it but she was dead on when she proposed "obliterating" Iran and they are all but certain that it will be the policy of not only whoever becomes president, but also all allied western nuclear powers.
Back to that Israel thing, I think the map demonstrates why Israel, while nervous, is not so eager to try and pop Iran.
