I normally 5box, Zerker, Defiler, Dirge, Illy, Assassin. Only do this on off nights. 4 accounts are mine, 5th (assassin) is my GF's toon.

I've been boxing for years, back in eq1 my friend and i had access to enough accounts that we would have raids with just the two of us. like 6 computers in a little room heh. those were the days.

With the dps that my group brings, its not hard to kill shit.

I think a couple of my proudest moments are 4boxing (with my GF playing her assassin for a 5th person) whole MC zone...

Mezzing, solo healing and tanking the sisters is fun as fuck.

A few weeks back i 3boxed on Nexona. MT defiler, MT Dirge and OT Illy (not a drake mezzer, just DPS). That was a rush.

As far as the getting another hobby and all that jazz... I recently took up tennis and play 4-5 times a week for 1.5-3 hours a time. lost a bit of weight too!

I don't party or drink and i don't really enjoy many social events, so gaming is a nice way for me to satisfy my needs to hang out with my friends and do things on my own time frame.

I would rather to not have to box, while im fairly anti-social, i don't play an MMORPmotherfuckingG to solo. Boxing is a nice way of being able to meet all those needs at once.

I'm a multi-tasking junkie. If i'm not doing 9 things at once i go stir crazy. Even when im not boxing on raids or groups, im usually doing something on at least 1 other toon... crafting, soloing, harvesting etc.

When i get a new hobby i tend to throw 100% of my free time into that. After i quit eq1 i got into making electronic circuits. I started building and designing guitar effects and amps in my garage. Spent a lot of time and money. When i started playing eq2, once i was really enjoying that, i started spending most of my free time doing that.



So as far as getting a hobby... this is my hobby

To each their own honestly, none of us really have any room to talk about getting a life or whatnot, we all do things others wouldn't enjoy. I couldn't imagine the HEAT 6 computers in ONE room would put off, my ONE computer heats my room fairly well, if not more than I would like, especially in the summer!

Lame, I know. Hand-me-down desk that's been a scratching post for far too long. Comp has just as many scratches and dings from its excursion to the other side of the country and back. And no, there's not a damn thing on any wall in my apartment, so don't feel bad for this one. It's MINE, dammit, even if it's empty! lol

And I'm looking into a gaming keyboard, just replaced my mouse (and love it, it's a Logitech G3 gaming mouse-NO trackball for me) and my keyboard has been recycled from the first computer I ever got upon graduating high school. It's only missing the windows keys, and I did that on purpose with a butterknife because I kept hitting the right one on accident and it'd flip over to my start screen when I was trying to kill shit.

Plays EQ2, WoW, and AoC wonderfully though. Don't hate!

Not all people who box have no life. It's just as easy to set one toon attacking, cast some stuff then ALT TAB and do the same on the other. I get bored just playing one toon. I even two box battle grounds some times
