Those of use with carpal tunnel issues... can't use a mouse for much more than 10-15 minutes without 3 days of recovery time. Took me a long time to find what I liked but the Logitech ones are all around best. There was a kensington one years ago that was awesome. THe ball looked like the track ball out of an old centipede arcade game (weight and everything) but the designe was really shite.

Trackball >>> Mouse

Faster response time, better level of detail in control once you get used to the ball and not a mouse sliding and scraping across your desk or pokemon mousepad.

I used to always use trackballs but after my old one died I couldn't find one I liked so stuck with a mouse I got from a friend. I do hate the sliding across the desk aspect of mice.

If your mouse "scrapes" against your mousepad (or desk) then throw away the foam pos that came with your dell, spend a lil money and get a real mousepad.

Razer makes nice ones. Don't be cheap, spend $35 or so... Your mouse will now glide like a puck on an airhockey table.

if anything its less precise because the ball can gain momentum

also having to waste digits on controlling a ball is inefficient lets be honest here
