Actually I find it funny you even think you know anything about the joker as a character, keep in mind now the words as a character.
The reason you don't get dane cook is because dane cook uses different elements of humor dumbass.
The joker is KNOWN for sick twisted humor I.E putting what looks like a grenade in someones mouth, and pulling it only to have smoke come out, that is what we mean by sick humor, and yes people laugh at that, and they should because movies are supposed to be a form of escapism where laughing at inappropriate stuff, among other things, is allowed, and acceptable.
If you honestly think the actions by the joker depicted in the movie aren't funny or aren't meant to instill some sort of laughter, then you really have no idea what the word humor is, and I suggest you look it up.
SPOILERS :
It is funny when the joker pulls back his har and says "hello beautiful" as he walks towards rachel, it's funny because the joker knows exactly what he looks like, who he is, and that he has no intention of being "nice" or "gentlemen like" towards rachel, he is mocking her and the word "gentlemen" at the same time, that is the humor behind it.
A better suited phrase would be ironically funny.
In fact one of the main themes that surround the joker is laughter, where as batman is more serious and direct. That's why he's the joker, because he does Sick, twisted, and
funny shit. He is the complete opposite of batman down to a T, and that is why he is batman's equal.
For you to completely ignore shit like that and act like your opinion is deemed as law ( and that's exactly how your acting btw ) is beyond retarded.
It also shows how little patience you have to deal with everyday people due to the fact that you get riled up so easily by other people's actions which hardly matter. I mean you honesty notice people moving around "too much" in theaters?, dude honestly stop watching the audience and start watching the movie.
But go ahead tell me how wrong I am, completely ignore the fact that the creators of the joker themselves wanted him to be humorous, I'm waiting for your ignorance.
