Movie got out an hour or so ago. Good flick, but I would agree overrated. I can't imagine liking it had Heath Ledger not played Joker. Things that I disliked:

1. As previously stated, Maggie whatever her name is sucked dick. Every time she was in a scene I wasn't enjoying myself. If she was ugly but acted very well it would be one thing. Glad she wasn't a part of the end tbh.

2. Christian Bale's Batman voice was ridiculous. I'm a huge fan of his, however they gotta change his voice so he doesn't sound like a raspy, 20-year smoking dog. Every time he talked as Batman I was slightly annoyed.

3. The whole two-face thing seemed uncalled for. It was pretty cool when you make the connection, but I felt as though introducing another villain two hours into the movie just dragged it on. Yes, I get the idea that Joker corrupting one of Gotham's finest would ultimately lead in a victory for him regardless of what happened to him, but he was good enough as a lone villain that I could have done without a side story. Plus didn't anyone else feel the anti-climactic resolution of Two-face when Batman jumps out of nowhere and just pushes him off the ledge? I mean after that whole scene, to have it end like that seemed silly.

On a side note, Heath Ledger was amazing. I would only watch the movie again to enjoy his role, it really was superb.

Surprisingly the pussy didn't do a damn thing, i would of for sure expected some confrontation. He just sat there with his soaked self the whole movie.

From a practical point, he was scripted to die. I realize things may change as the movie steeps for a while and fan/studio pressures want him to be alive. But, as shown, he was dead. It was the whole point of Batman becoming responsible for his crimes, including murder.

If he isn't, then it seems silly neither Batman nor Gordon did a thing to check him out or care for his injuries. They just let him lie there while they discussed what to do about his reputation.
