Just got back from a 615am Imax showing.

Amazingly good movie. All the talk about Heath with little mention of how amazing Aaron was....? Simply put, if he hadn't died, we'd be talking about Two-face just as much if not more than Joker.

Nonetheless, they were both excellently cast and Heath definitely saved his best for last.

The story was what really got me though. Long, sure...but I loved every minute of it. The ONLY thing I disliked was the glaze over job The Narrows got at the beginning with the apprehension of Scarecrow. If you want to know what happens there, you MUST watch Batman Gotham Knight, the 6 anime shorts released last week. They aren't great, but definitely fill in where the movie does not.

But heath ledger CARRIED that movie. He was absolutely fucking incredible. He sets the new bar from which all future villains will be judged.

Its so satisfying to see marvel poop out so many craptacular blockbusters and have DC take its time with absolute class and awe.
