I think Christian Bale sucks in some roles and is good in others. CSI bores the shit out of me but I like NCIS which is sorta the same thing in a JAG style format so who knows.

I liked Equilibrium but it is a guilty pleasure. The concepts of the movie appeal to me more than any acting involved. Dodging bullets based on statistics and the idea we would all willingly "dose" ourselves is entertaining.

A Terminator movie that resolves the whole story of SkyNet will destroy the enigmatic "fantasy universe" and atmosphere of fear behind it. We like to know that the humans win but my thinking is that it's better off not being directly portrayed. The whole war will probably hinge on some retardedly disappointing plot element to make it fit inside of a movie. We could easily end up with another RoboCop 3.

Nothing in that movie was funny. People laughed in the theater and I told them to shut the fuck up. The Joker's mania wasn't written into the script to be funny.

When i laughed at the joker scenes it was more of a sadistic laugh.. not funny haha laugh.
