Default Comic Con San Diego

Is anyone going? Its July 24th-27th and preview night wed (23rd).

Ive never been there before but decided to find and buy a ticket off craigslist since its sold out. Im not interested in comics/anime or w/e but I was told its a fun experience and plus warhammer and blizzard will be there, along with lotsa other shit but spread out through the week.

Anyone went before that cares to describe it in further detail? Also ive been to the two block parties that happen the same time for SOE with shuttles going back and forth from comic con to there. I wouldnt suggest it unless you want free food and beer. Its slightly entertaining but definately not worth it if your coming from out of SD.

omg! Last time I went, I had a blast. I even saw Aria Giovanni and that awesome clown from House of Thousand Corpses. It's been a few years since I have been to it, but here's what I remember:

long lines!
all kind of games
TV
Movies
Toys, collectibles
figurines
paintings (all kinds of art, I guess )
people dressed up in costumes
hot chicks (lol)
comics (LOTS)
authors
porn stars
movie stars
anime

Oh yeah, make sure you get your hotel situation figured out... nothing sucks like having to settle for a place that's not within walking distance. Plan to arrive early too (because of the long lines). You also might want to check out youtube. They might have some interviews or footage of the previous events.

To sum it up, it's all about the media. ;)

Edit: I wish I had kept my catalog. They usually send me one every year... but, their website is just as good.
